You could try a primer pump as well- Fuel filter 60000km, air filter 45000km (dusty conditions). I use the free Forscan software and bluetooth MX OBD2 interface. I also have cheap Chinese adapter which works well with Forscan but no MS CAN. I change brake fluid 2 yearly with a home made pressure system (warning do not exceed 15psi). Whilst on a journey the weekend had a message flash up saying fuel filer overload. Stopped at services and message went away. Today I get a message saying oil service.
